A summer break

A pause in writing

I will be taking a break from writing, for the next couple of weeks.

We remain a family of six; Neve was born and she lived for a decade and it is ever thus. But the day to day reality is now three daughters and two parents, growing and grieving. We need to regroup, to find ourselves, individually and collectively, as a family of five living beings, a reimagined family. Neve is everywhere, in my mind, in all the food that I see, there are reminders of her existence, of our sorrow and of our joy. She is my companion, as I strive to regain a footing within our restructured family and the ever changing dynamics of living and grieving.
