Thank you. It was one of those pieces that mostly just wrote itself, without much editing or anything. This kind of writing intrigues me; it doesn't always feel like I wrote it!

It's weird how these ideas pop into our heads, isn't it? My girlfriend died just over thirty years ago but she still pops into my head when I am least expecting her. For a long time, it was a mix of happy memories and sad memories. These days, they are usually happy ones.

I hope you have many happy memories.

Thank you. Today I saw a sign with the wifi password at the hospice and was instantly transported back to our first visit and trying to get her online and everything about that moment. As you say, a mix of happiness and sadness.
