Neve really did love lots of little things (not to say she wouldn't have loved big things too!). A friend told me recently that the thing that helped her through grief was not anything big, but it was a combination of lots of little things. So perhaps it really is all the little things. A way to love and a way to grieve.
The podcast gave you the right question to think and write about Neve - I think you said, permission. I find the same strength in your writing and drawing and how you so openly explore your feelings and experience. I am very grateful for how you share and find guidance and permission in your words also. X
Holly, this means so much. And yes, the podcast asked just the right question, that opened a door for me. I am honoured to do the same for others. You have been one of the very greatest supports to me, I have learned so much about how to support the next family down the line, from how you have supported me. xx
Likewise to your quartet! It feels extra special to have people in my life who remember Neve's birth, who have been a part of our life since before she was born and died. xx
Sounds like a perfect day, taking time to love all the little things in life!

I remember Neve’s birth, so close to my A and the third of our more-or-less shared pregnancies. I think of her (and you all!) often.

I remember that frosty morning so well. The beauty and rightness of her birth. Thank you for sharing all these beautiful words. 💜
