But birthdays do go on don't they ? Each year on their birthdays I reflect on my parents' birthdays and my grandparents' birthdays and Jen's birthday..... what age would they be today ? And how much I loved them and how they continue to be celebrated in our lives. Half birthdays are a great idea Neve ! You can never have too much celebrating !
I am much like Sheila in maintaining a connection to the birth (and death) dates of people who are no longer alive. Each year, I even think of my paternal grandfather — whom I never met because he died 10 years before I was born — on the anniversary of his death, April 13. I know I will never forget Neve's birthday.
